Billing and subscriptions
Quickleap provides flexible subscription management with transparent pricing and complete control over your billing preferences.Subscription management
View your subscription
Access your current subscription details from the dashboard:- Navigate to Billing in the sidebar
- View your current plan, renewal date, and usage statistics
- See your subscription status (active, trialing, canceled, etc.)
- Current plan - Plan name, pricing, and features
- Billing cycle - Current period start and end dates
- Next renewal - Days until your next billing date
- Trial status - If you’re in a trial period, see when it ends
- Usage stats - Current usage against your plan limits
Trial periods are configured per plan. Most plans include a trial period where you can test all features before being charged.
Cancel your subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time:- Go to Billing → Subscription
- Click Cancel Subscription
- Choose cancellation type:
- Cancel at period end - Keep access until your current billing period ends
- Cancel immediately - Cancel now and lose access immediately
- Optionally provide a reason for cancellation
- Confirm cancellation
Reactivate your subscription
If you canceled at period end, you can reactivate before the period expires:- Go to Billing → Subscription
- Click Reactivate Subscription
- Your subscription will continue without interruption
Reactivation is only available for subscriptions that were set to cancel at period end. You cannot reactivate immediately canceled subscriptions.
Payment history
View all your past payments and invoices:- Navigate to Billing → Payment History
- See all transactions with details:
- Transaction date and amount
- Payment status (succeeded, failed, pending, refunded)
- Transaction type (payment, refund, subscription cycle)
- Invoice and receipt links
- Download receipts for accounting purposes
- Filter by date range or status
Transaction types
- payment - Regular subscription charges
- refund - Refunded amounts
- subscription_cycle - Recurring billing cycle charges
- setup_fee - One-time setup charges (if applicable)
Transaction statuses
- succeeded - Payment processed successfully
- failed - Payment failed (card declined, insufficient funds, etc.)
- pending - Payment is being processed
- refunded - Payment was fully refunded
- partially_refunded - Part of the payment was refunded
Customer portal
Access the Stripe Customer Portal for advanced billing management:- Go to Billing
- Click Manage Billing or Customer Portal
- You’ll be redirected to Stripe’s secure portal where you can:
- Update payment methods
- Update billing information
- View and download invoices
- Manage tax information
The Customer Portal session is secure and time-limited. You’ll be redirected back to Quickleap when done.
Plan limits and usage
Understanding limits
Each plan includes specific limits:- Max redirects - Maximum number of redirect domains you can create
- Max analytics events per redirect - Number of hits tracked per redirect
- Max rules per redirect - Number of conditional rules per redirect
- Analytics retention - How long analytics data is stored
Usage tracking
Monitor your usage in the billing dashboard:- Redirects used - Current number of active redirects
- Total analytics events - Total hits across all redirects this billing period
- Last usage update - When usage stats were last refreshed
Upgrading and downgrading
Upgrade your plan
To upgrade to a higher-tier plan:- Go to Billing → Plans
- Select a higher-tier plan
- Review the pricing and features
- Click Upgrade
- Complete the checkout process
Upgrades are prorated. You’ll only pay the difference for the remaining billing period.
Downgrade your plan
To downgrade to a lower-tier plan:- Go to Billing → Plans
- Select a lower-tier plan
- Review the new limits and features
- Click Change Plan
- Confirm the downgrade
Grace period
Quickleap provides a grace period for payment failures:- If your payment fails, you’ll receive an email notification
- You have a grace period (configured per plan) to update your payment method
- During the grace period, your service continues without interruption
- After the grace period expires, your subscription may be suspended
Grace periods are typically 3-7 days depending on your plan tier. Check your plan details for the exact grace period.
