What You Need
To install Unleashed Recompiled you will need the following items from your Xbox 360:- Sonic Unleashed for Xbox 360 — US or EU release only. Available as a retail disc or as a digital purchase from the Xbox Store.
- Title Update — required for the installer to accept your files.
- DLC — Adventure Packs — optional, but very strongly recommended (see note below).
The Adventure Pack DLC is highly recommended. In addition to the extra stages, the DLC includes high-quality lighting for the entire game — not just the DLC content itself. Playing without it means the whole game will use lower-quality lighting.
Tools Required
You will need the following tools on your PC before you begin:- Velocity (Gualdimar’s fork) — used to read the Xbox 360 storage device and copy the game files.
- 7-Zip — needed to extract the Velocity
.rararchive.
Choose a Dumping Method
There are two ways to get the game files from your Xbox 360 to your PC. Pick the one that matches your setup:Hard Drive
Connect your Xbox 360 hard drive directly to your PC using the Xbox 360 Hard Drive Transfer Cable (or a compatible SATA to USB adapter) and copy the files with Velocity.
USB Drive
Configure a USB storage device as a system drive on your Xbox 360, install the game to it, then connect the USB drive to your PC and copy the files with Velocity.
