Additional tab features

Tab context menu

Right-click on any tab to access these options:
Assign or change the color of the tab for visual organization
Create a copy of the tab with all its content. The new tab will have “(Copy)” appended to the title.
Lock a tab to prevent accidental closure. Locked tabs don’t show the close button.

Linking between tabs

You can create links between your tabs:
  1. Type @ in the editor
  2. Select a tab from the suggestion list
  3. Click the link to instantly jump to that tab
Tab links are perfect for creating a table of contents tab that links to all your other notes.

Best practices

Use descriptive titles

Give each tab a clear, descriptive title. This makes searching and navigation much easier.

Lock important tabs

Lock tabs containing important reference material to prevent accidental closure.

Color by context

Develop a consistent color system (e.g., blue for work, orange for personal) to quickly identify tab types.

Use the sidebar

Switch to vertical tabs when working with many tabs or when you need to see full titles at a glance.
