Free Mode lets you practice three-cushion billiards without selecting a predefined play. There is no master route, no magnetic assist, and no calibrated starting position — just the full professional physics engine and the yellow predictive guide responding to wherever you aim. Use it to develop your own systems, test arbitrary table configurations, or warm up freely before working through guided plays.

Activating Free Mode

Click the Modo libre button in the main action bar. The button displays its current state: Modo libre: ON when active and Modo libre: OFF when you are in Practice Mode. In Full-Screen Table mode on mobile, the same toggle is available inside the Opciones menu. When Free Mode is active:
  • The master route (green band) is hidden entirely.
  • The magnetic aim assist is off.
  • The yellow predictive guide still calculates and displays your current shot path using the same physics engine as the real shot.
  • Tirar is available and fires real physics; every shot counts as an attempt.
  • The neon illumination still fires when the predictive guide anticipates a carambola of 3 or more cushions.

Positioning Balls

Ubicar bolas (Place Balls)

Click Ubicar bolas to toggle ball-placement drag mode. When ON, you can drag each ball — white, yellow, and red — to any position on the table cloth. Click Ubicar bolas again to exit placement mode and return to aiming.

Nueva posición (New Position)

Click Nueva posición to randomize all three ball positions automatically. This is useful for generating varied configurations and avoiding the habit of always practicing from the same geometry.

Shooting and Scoring

Press Tirar to fire the cue ball with real physics. The shot counts as one attempt. A valid carambola — the white ball touching 3 or more cushions and then hitting the second object ball — adds one point to the scoreboard. The Ver replay button becomes available after each shot so you can review the motion in detail.

Scoreboard in Free Mode

The scoreboard tracks the same three counters regardless of whether you are in Free Mode or Practice Mode:
CounterLabelMeaning
PuntosPointsValid carambolas scored
IntentosAttemptsTotal shots taken
BandasCushionsTotal cushions accumulated
Use Reiniciar (Reset Score) to zero all three counters without moving the balls.

Free Mode Workflow

1

Enter Free Mode

Click Modo libre. The button shows Modo libre: ON and the green master guide disappears from the table.
2

Set your ball positions

Click Ubicar bolas and drag each ball to the desired position, or click Nueva posición for a random table setup.
3

Aim, set effect and power

Drag the cue handle to aim. Adjust the blue effect dot for spin and pull the cue back to build power.
4

Press Tirar

Fire the real physics shot. Watch whether your system produces a valid three-cushion carambola.
5

Review with Ver replay

Click Ver replay to replay the last shot’s motion and analyze your cue ball path, cushion contacts, and final position.
Use Free Mode alongside the deflection guide panel (Guía dinámica: contacto real entre bolas). As you aim at the red or yellow ball, the panel updates to show exactly how your chosen contact thickness — Fino, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, or Llena — deflects the cue ball after impact. Experimenting with different thicknesses in Free Mode is the fastest way to understand how impact point changes the opening or closing of a three-cushion route.
