Miner Archetypes is HashPilot’s identity classification system. It analyzes your decision-making patterns across six behavioral dimensions — claim timing, hCASH usage, miner selection, halving response, primary goal, and network hashrate reaction — and maps them to one of six strategic archetypes. The result is not a personality type. The Assessment
The quiz consists of six questions, each with four answer options. There are no trick questions and no right answers — the options map directly to behavioral patterns associated with specific archetypes. Progress is shown as a step counter (SCAN 1/6 through SCAN 6/6). Questions animate in from the right as you advance. You cannot go back.

How Scoring Works
Each answer contributes weighted points to one or more archetypes. After all six answers are collected, the system (calculateArchetype) sums the weights and returns the archetype with the highest total score. In the event of a tie, the first-encountered maximum wins.
After you answer the final question, a 4.5-second scanning animation plays — a horizontal amber line sweeps the screen three times while status messages appear (ANALYZING CLAIM PATTERNS… CROSS-REFERENCING STRATEGY MATRIX… CLASSIFICATION CONFIRMED) — before the reveal screen fades in.

The Profile Page
After the reveal screen (which shows your archetype name, symbol, tagline, and a button to proceed), the full profile page opens with four sections.Core Identity

A two-column layout shows:- Strengths as a bullet list with green indicators

3-Move Playbook
A numbered three-column panel labeled YOUR 3-MOVE PLAYBOOK displays your archetype’s three prioritized action commands. These are sequenced — move 1 is the most immediate priority.Archetype Registry
At the bottom of the profile page, a grid shows all six archetypes. Your result is highlighted with an amber ring and a MY IDENTITY badge. The other five are rendered with a blur overlay, visible but clearly secondary.AI Strategy Roadmap
Below the 3-Move Playbook, click GET AI STRATEGY ROADMAP to request a personalized 3-month mining strategy from the HashPilot AI backend (/api/chat).
The AI receives your archetype name, tagline, and vulnerability. It returns a specific, actionable roadmap written from the perspective of a high-level mining consultant — encouraging about your strengths, honest about your exposure, and concrete in its month-by-month guidance.
The response streams in and is displayed in a blue-bordered terminal panel as it arrives, so you see the advice build in real time.
The AI Strategy Roadmap requires a configured Anthropic API key. See API Keys for setup details. If the backend is unreachable, an error message is displayed in the output panel.
The Exportable Badge Card
Every archetype comes with a shareable identity badge. The badge card is rendered directly in the browser at 4:5 aspect ratio and can be exported as a high-resolution PNG. The badge includes:- Your archetype symbol (animated with a subtle pulse)
- Your archetype name in the archetype’s accent color with a matching glow shadow
- Your tagline in italic monospace
- Up to three strength tags as small bordered labels
- A “HASHPILOT — MINER PROFILE” header and “IDENTITY VERIFIED // GEN_LOG_01” footer
