The Results Dashboard at /dashboard embeds the Alliance Results Dashboard — a Power BI report hosted at bi.prms.cgiar.org — directly inside the application. It gives you aggregate views of research output across the full CGIAR results federation without leaving Alliance Research Indicators.

What the dashboard shows

The embedded report surfaces pre-built analytics pages that let you slice results across multiple dimensions. Typical views include:
  • Results by indicator type — counts and trends for capacity-sharing events, policy changes, OICRs, innovation development, and other indicator categories
  • Results by status — breakdown of draft, submitted, accepted, and returned records so you can spot lifecycle bottlenecks
  • Results by center — contribution volumes per CGIAR center or Alliance unit
  • Results by geographic scope — a regional and country-level view of where research is being reported, driven by the geographic scope metadata collected on each result
  • Results by time period — year-over-year comparisons aligned with reporting cycles
Because the data source is the PRMS federation layer, the charts reflect results from Alliance Research Indicators alongside those submitted through STAR, TIP, and AICCRA.

Using the dashboard

The Power BI report renders inside a full-height iframe. All filtering, cross-highlighting, and drill-through actions are handled by the report itself — use the report’s own slicer panels and page navigation to explore the data.
Cross-Platform Consumers (analysts from STAR, TIP, PRMS, or AICCRA) see a federated view that aggregates results from all connected platforms. Researchers and Center Admins whose scope is limited to a single center will see the same report, but the underlying data access is governed by the Power BI report’s row-level security rules, which mirror the role boundaries defined in Alliance Research Indicators. See Roles and permissions for details on how access scopes are defined.

Downloading and sharing

Use the export controls built into the Power BI toolbar (visible in the report’s top bar) to download a filtered view as a PDF or to share a link to a specific report state. These controls are provided by Power BI and are not part of the Alliance Research Indicators interface.
