Use this file to discover all available pages before exploring further.

Alliance Research Indicators provides two complementary surfaces for finding results: the Search a Result page for federated free-text search across all platforms, and the Results Center for structured filtering, sorting, and export of the results visible to your role. Both surfaces work together — use Search a Result to discover results across the CGIAR ecosystem, and the Results Center for day-to-day management of results within your center.

Search a Result (/search-a-result)

The Search a Result page performs a full-text search powered by OpenSearch across results indexed from Alliance Research Indicators and its federated partners — STAR, TIP, PRMS, and AICCRA. Results are displayed as cards showing:
  • The indicator type icon and name
  • Result title
  • Description (if available)
  • Result official code
  • Keywords
Click any result card to open the result. If the result belongs to this platform, it opens at /result/:id/general-information. If it belongs to a federated platform (STAR, TIP, PRMS, AICCRA), it opens in that platform via a deep link. Search results are paginated. Use the paginator at the bottom of the list to move through pages of results. Each page shows 5 results by default.

Results Center (/results-center)

The Results Center is the primary table-based interface for managing results. It shows all results visible to your role and supports rich filtering, sorting, and export.

View modes

The Results Center has two tab views:
ViewDescription
All ResultsShows every result your role can see, across all creators and centers within your scope.
My ResultsFilters to only results you created.
You can pin either view as your default. The pin preference is saved server-side per user and persists across sessions.

Available filters

Open the Filters sidebar to narrow results by any combination of:
  • Indicator — filter by one or more indicator types (Capacity Sharing, Innovation Development, Policy Change, OICR, Innovation Use)
  • Status — filter by lifecycle status (Draft, Submitted, Accepted, Pending Revision, Published, etc.)
  • Source / Platform — filter to results from a specific platform (Alliance Research Indicators, STAR, TIP, PRMS, AICCRA)
  • Reporting project — filter by contract or project agreement ID
  • Primary lever — filter by the Alliance lever of change
  • Reporting year — filter by one or more reporting years
Active filters appear as removable chips above the table. Click the × on any chip to remove that filter without opening the sidebar.

Table columns

The default table shows: Code, Title, Indicator, Status, Reporting Project, Primary Lever, Live Version, Approved Versions, Creator, and Creation Date. Use the Table Configuration sidebar to show, hide, or reorder columns.

Typical search and export workflow

1

Open the Results Center

Navigate to /results-center from the left sidebar under Results. The table loads with your pinned tab preference (All Results or My Results by default).
2

Apply indicator and status filters

Click the indicator tab at the top of the table to filter by a single indicator type, or open Filters and select multiple indicators, statuses, years, or other criteria. The table updates immediately when you click Apply filters.
3

Search within the filtered list

Use the search input above the table to perform a text search within the currently filtered result set. The search runs server-side and matches against title, code, and creator name.
4

Export results to Excel

Click the Export button in the section header. The platform uses ExcelJS to generate a structured Excel workbook containing the currently filtered and sorted result set. The file downloads automatically to your browser’s default download location. The export reflects the active filters, sort order, and column configuration — what you see in the table is what you get in the file.
5

Download an OICR report

For OICR-type results, a formatted OICR report document is available via the /oicr/download route. Navigate to that page and select the result to generate the report. The download uses the data entered in the OICR Details tab of the result.
The OICR download page (/oicr/download) is publicly accessible without authentication, so you can share a direct download link with stakeholders who do not have a platform account.

Cross-platform result linking

When you find a result in Search a Result that comes from a federated platform, you can link it to an existing result in Alliance Research Indicators from the Links to Result tab of that result. This creates a bidirectional association that surfaces in cross-platform search and prevents duplicate entries in funder reports. If you are about to create a new result and Search a Result shows a matching record from another platform, use the link to existing prompt instead of creating a new record. See Create and manage research results for the duplicate-detection flow.

Role-based result visibility

What you see in the Results Center depends on your role:
RoleVisible results
Researcher / Result ReporterYour own results plus all results at your center
Center AdminAll results at your center
MEL Regional ExpertAll results within your assigned region
AdminAll results across all centers and platforms
MEL Regional Experts also see results in Submitted status from their scope highlighted in the review queue via the Notifications page.
