  • Try signing out and back in
  • Check your internet connection
  • Try uploading a smaller file first
  • Disable VPN if active
  • Try again later if servers are busy
  • Video exceeds 5-minute limit on Free plan
  • Upgrade to Cap Pro for unlimited length
  • Or trim video to under 5 minutes
  • Ensure video is valid MP4
  • Try exporting again from editor

  • Direct link: Use copied shareable link

Network Considerations

Upload Speed

Upload time depends on:
  • Your internet upload speed
  • Video file size
  • Server location
  • Network congestion
For faster uploads, connect via ethernet instead of Wi-Fi when possible.

Bandwidth Usage

Typical upload sizes:
  • 1080p, 5 minutes: ~200-500 MB
  • 1440p, 5 minutes: ~400-800 MB
  • 4K, 5 minutes: ~800-1500 MB
Lower compression quality increases file size.

Privacy During Upload

  • Videos are uploaded over HTTPS (encrypted)
  • Only you can access until you share the link
  • Default videos are unlisted (link required to view)
  • Set videos to private with password (Pro)
Your videos are private by default. They’re only accessible to those with the share link.
