Overview

Alternativa Verde supports a multi-center architecture that allows you to manage multiple collection centers within a single application. Each center maintains its own set of generators, tickets, vehicles, and team members, ensuring complete data isolation between locations.

What are Collection Centers?

Collection centers are physical locations where your organization collects recyclable materials. Each center has:
  • Location details: Name, state, city, and address
  • Isolated data: Generators, tickets, vehicles, and team members specific to that center
  • Unique ticket series: Ticket numbers include the center’s state code (e.g., AV-CAR-2024-0001 for Carabobo)

Multi-Center Architecture

The application uses an “active center” model:
  • One center is active at any given time (configured in the Dashboard)
  • The active center determines which data is displayed and used for new tickets
  • Users can switch between centers by changing the active center in the Dashboard
  • Each center maintains complete data isolation
The active center can only be changed from the Dashboard view, not from the Configuration page.

Center-Specific Data Isolation

Each collection center maintains its own isolated data:

  • Team Members: Staff members are assigned to specific centers
  • Ticket Numbering: Ticket numbers include the center’s state code for unique identification
