When to Generate the Book

  • Monthly: Generate at the end of each month for compliance
  • Quarterly: For quarterly environmental reports
  • Annually: Year-end compliance summary
  • On-Demand: When requested by environmental auditors
  • Before Inspections: Have current month ready for regulators
The Book of Control pulls data from tickets and dispatches. Ensure all tickets are entered and accurate BEFORE generating monthly reports.

Pagination

History displays 50 tickets per page:
  • Showing X-Y of Z: Current visible range and total count
  • Anterior (Previous): Go to previous page
  • Siguiente (Next): Go to next page
  • Page N of M: Current page and total pages
Pagination controls are disabled when:
  • On first page (Anterior disabled)
  • On last page (Siguiente disabled)
  • Loading data (both disabled)
Use filters to reduce the total number of results and find tickets faster than paging through hundreds of records.

Performance Considerations

Large Datasets

  • History loads 50 tickets at a time (paginated)
  • Excel export batches 200 tickets at a time internally
  • Book of Control loads ALL tickets (may take time for years of data)

Search Debouncing

  • 300ms delay before search executes
  • Prevents search while you’re still typing
  • Reduces server load

Caching

  • Repeat page loads use cache
  • Sorting triggers cache refresh
  • Ensures data accuracy

Best Practices

Generate Excel exports at the end of each month as a data backup. Store in cloud storage or external drives.
Create the Book of Control on the 1st-3rd of the following month while data is fresh and corrections are easy.
Rather than clicking through 20 pages, use the search bar to jump directly to the generator or ticket you need.
Apply your desired sort order before exporting to Excel to get the data organized the way you need it.
A week before scheduled environmental audits, generate the Book of Control and review for completeness and accuracy.

Troubleshooting

”No se encontraron tickets”

No tickets match your search/filter criteria:
  • ✅ Clear filters and search to see all tickets
  • ✅ Check date format (DD/MM/YYYY)
  • ✅ Verify spelling in generator name search

Excel Export Stuck on “Exportando…”

  • ⏳ Large datasets take time (1000+ tickets may take 10-30 seconds)
  • ⏳ Don’t close the browser window while exporting
  • 🔄 If timeout occurs, try filtering to smaller date range

Book of Control Empty Pages

  • ✅ Ensure you selected a month with actual ticket data
  • ✅ Check that tickets have valid dates in that month
  • ✅ Verify collection center is configured correctly

Data Retention

Ticket history is:
  • ✅ Retained indefinitely
  • ✅ Never auto-deleted
  • ✅ Included in database backups
  • ⚠️ Only removed via manual deletion (with confirmation)
Alternativa Verde 2023 is required to retain collection records for 5 years per environmental regulations. Never delete tickets less than 5 years old unless legally authorized.
