Eden is a free and open-source Nintendo Switch emulator derived from Yuzu and Sudachi, built with portability in mind. Whether you’re playing on a gaming PC, a Steam Deck, or an Android phone, Eden brings Switch games to your platform of choice with high compatibility and performance.

What is Eden?

Eden emulates the Nintendo Switch (Switch 1) hardware in software, allowing you to run Switch game files on your PC, Mac, or Android device. It was started by developer Camille LaVey and is maintained by an active open-source community.

Install Eden

Download the latest release for your platform — AppImage for Linux/Steam Deck, EXE for Windows, or APK for Android.

Add your keys and firmware

Use Tools → Install Decryption Keys and Tools → Install Firmware to provide the prod.keys and firmware files dumped from your own Nintendo Switch console.

Add your games

Double-click the game list area to point Eden at the folder containing your dumped Switch game files.

Play

Double-click any game to launch it. Configure controllers, graphics, and other options via Emulation → Configure.
Eden requires firmware and decryption keys obtained from your own Nintendo Switch console. These files are not provided by the project.
