Eden handles game updates and DLC as separate files installed to its virtual NAND. Once installed, the Add-Ons column in the game list reflects the new content, and you can enable or disable individual entries per game without reinstalling anything.
This guide applies to separate update or DLC files (NSP/XCI format). If your file already merges the base game, update, and DLC into a single archive, Eden loads it directly without any installation step.

Installing updates and DLC

1

Open the install dialog

Launch Eden and, from the main window, select File > Install Files to NAND…
2

Select your files

Navigate to the update or DLC file(s) you want to install and select them.
You can select multiple files at once in this dialog to batch-install several updates or DLC packs in a single operation.
3

Confirm the installation

Eden scans each file for validity, then shows a confirmation window listing all detected content. Use the checkbox next to any entry to deselect items you do not want to install, then click Install.
4

Verify the result

A success prompt appears when installation completes. Back in the main window, check the Add-Ons column — it should now reflect the newly installed content.

Disabling updates or DLC per game

You may occasionally want to disable a specific update or DLC pack — for example, when a patch breaks a mod or introduces a regression.
1

Open game configuration

Right-click the game in the game list and select Configure Game.
2

Uncheck the content to disable

In the Add-Ons tab, uncheck the box next to the update or DLC entry you want to disable, then click OK.
3

Confirm the change

The entry now shows a [D] prefix in the listing, indicating it is disabled. If you launch the game, it will report the version as though the update is not applied (for games that display version information).
