Overview
The Acuity Dashboard pulls live data from the Acuity API and provides detailed breakdowns of class attendance. Staff can explore trends by class type, time period (trimester), category, and instructor — and drill into individual instructor performance with a click.Filters
Two global filters appear at the top of the page and apply across all chart sections:- Date Range Picker — Filters all data to appointments that fall within the selected window. Supports preset ranges and year navigation. When the selected range is three months or shorter, data is grouped by week; longer ranges are grouped by month.
- Class Category Dropdown — Filters all charts and tables to a specific category of class. Available options:
- All Classes
- Postpartum Classes
- Prenatal Classes
- Infant Massage
- Parent Groups
- Childbirth Classes
Attendance by Class
This section shows total attendance broken down by individual class name over the selected date range.- Graph view — A stacked bar chart where each bar represents a time interval (week or month) and each color-coded segment represents a different class.
- Table view — A sortable data table with one row per class, showing total attendance counts.
Attendance by Trimester
This section breaks down class attendance by trimester of pregnancy/postpartum:| Trimester Label | Color |

- Graph view — A stacked bar chart grouping attendance by class, with trimester as the stacking dimension.
- Table view — A data table with columns for class name and per-trimester attendance counts.
Attendance by Category
This section aggregates attendance at the class-category level over time (week or month intervals), allowing comparison of broad program areas.- Graph view — A stacked bar chart where each bar is a time interval and each segment is a class category, color-coded from the BCGW color palette.
- Table view — A data table with one row per time interval and columns for each category.
Instructor Breakdown
The Instructor section shows how many classes each instructor led and how many clients they served within the selected date range.- Table view — The primary view, listing each instructor with their attendance totals. Click any instructor row to open an Instructor Detail popup showing that instructor’s attendance broken down by individual class.
- Graph view — A bar chart ranking instructors by total attendance.
