Overview

The Jane Dashboard surfaces analytics from appointment data that has been manually uploaded to the system. It is split into two main sections: Visit Breakdown and Client Retention.
Jane does not have a live API integration. All data must be manually uploaded as a file before it appears in this dashboard. See the Jane Data Upload page for instructions.

Date Range Filter

A date range picker in the top-right corner of the page filters all data on the dashboard — both the visit breakdown and the retention chart — to the selected time window. Preset ranges (e.g., last 30 days, last 90 days) are available for quick selection, and year navigation is supported for historical data.

VIEW UPLOADED DATA

The VIEW UPLOADED DATA button navigates to the Jane Data page, where you can inspect the raw uploaded appointment records and trigger new uploads.

Visit Breakdown

The Visit Breakdown section shows how appointments are distributed across the three visit types:
Visit TypeDescription
Home VisitClinician visits the client at home
In OfficeClient visits the BCGW office
TelehealthRemote video or phone consultation
The section also displays a Total row with the full count of appointments in the selected range.

Graph / Table Toggle

Use the Graph and Table buttons to switch between views:
  • Graph view — A donut pie chart with percentage labels for each visit type, color-coded in BCGW brand colors (yellow, dark navy, teal).
  • Table view — A sortable data table showing visit type, count, and percentage of total.

Exporting Visit Data

  • In table view, click Export to download the visit breakdown as a CSV file named with the selected date range.
  • In graph view, click Export to save the pie chart as an image.

Client Retention

The Client Retention section shows how frequently clients return for additional visits within the selected date range. This helps identify whether clients are completing a full course of care or dropping off after a first visit.

Funnel / Table Toggle

  • Graph view — A funnel chart where each step represents clients who had 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6+ visits. Each bar narrows as the cohort of returning clients decreases, giving a visual sense of drop-off.
  • Table view — A data table with columns for visit count, number of clients, percentage of total, and number of clients lost at that step. Clicking a row in table view opens a Client Lost popup listing the names and emails of clients who did not return for a subsequent visit.

Recent Childbirth Filter

In both graph and table views, a dropdown filter lets you narrow retention data to either:
  • ALL CLIENTS — the full dataset for the period
  • RECENT CHILDBIRTH — only clients flagged as having given birth recently
This filter is useful for understanding postpartum care engagement specifically.

Exporting Retention Data

  • In table view, click Export to download retention data as a CSV named with the date range and selected client filter.
  • In graph view, click Export to save the funnel chart as an image.
