Accessing the Set Viewer
From the Utopia homepage, click the Set Viewer LCARS button to access the expansion set browser.Interface Overview
The Set Viewer is divided into two main panels:- Set List (left): Scrollable list of all expansion sets
- Card Display (right): Visual display of all cards in the selected set
Browsing Sets
View the set list
The left panel displays all expansion sets in reverse chronological order (newest first). Each entry shows:
- Parent Set name (e.g., “Wave 1”, “Starter Set”)
- Expansion name (e.g., “U.S.S. Enterprise”, “Core Set”)
Select a set
Click any set name in the list. The selected set is highlighted to indicate your current selection.
View cards
The right panel updates to show all cards included in the selected expansion, displayed as full card images.
Set List Organization
Expansion sets are organized and displayed by: Parent Set Categories:- Starter Sets: Core game boxes with complete starting content
- Wave Releases: Numbered waves of expansion packs (Wave 1, Wave 2, etc.)
- Special Releases: Premium ships, organized play kits, promotional items
- Faction Packs: Faction-specific expansion collections
- Builder: Special cards created for the fleet builder
Viewing Set Contents
When you select a set, the card display shows:Set Header
The top of the card display shows:- Parent Set category
- Expansion name
Card Display
Cards are displayed as full-size, high-quality images in a multi-column layout: Card Types Shown:- Ship Cards: Both unique named ships and generic class cards
- Captain Cards: With skill values and abilities
- Admiral Cards: Fleet-wide command upgrades
- Ambassador Cards: Diplomatic upgrade cards
- Upgrade Cards: Crew, weapons, tech, talents, Borg upgrades
- Resource Cards: Fleet resources and special mechanics
- Token Cards: Reference cards for special tokens or mechanics
For unique ships, both the named ship card and its generic class card are displayed together.
Special Card Types
Token Information Cards: Some cards have associated token reference cards that explain special mechanics. These are displayed alongside the main card. Dual-Sided Cards: Cards with special token effects show both the front card and the token information.Understanding Set Contents

- 1 Pre-painted ship miniature (not shown in Set Viewer)
- 1-2 Ship cards (unique and/or generic)
- 1-2 Captain cards
- 4-8 Upgrade cards (crew, weapons, tech)
- Maneuver dial and token sheet (not shown)
- Card stand and pegs (not shown)

Using the Set Viewer for Collection Management
The Set Viewer helps you:Track Your Collection

- Identify which sets contain cards you need

Research Before Buying
Find a card you want
Use the Fleet Builder to search for specific cards and note which sets they appear in.
Update Fleet Builder Filters
Use the Set Viewer in conjunction with Fleet Builder expansion filters:- Review which sets you own using the Set Viewer
- In Fleet Builder, access Advanced filters
- Navigate to “Owned Expansions”
- Uncheck sets you don’t own
- Your Fleet Builder search will now only show cards you have access to

While the Set Viewer displays full card images, you can see even more detail in the Fleet Builder:- Hover over cards in the Fleet Builder for pop-up previews
- Read full card text and abilities

Finding Specific Cards
To locate which set contains a specific card:Enable set names
In Fleet Builder’s export options, enable “Show Set Names” to see which expansion each card is from.

Image Loading: The Set Viewer loads high-resolution card images on demand. Images may take a moment to load on slower connections. Browser Compatibility: The Set Viewer works in all modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
