Creating your first competition
Navigate to Add New Competition
From the admin panel, go to Competitions → Add New Competition to open the competition creation form.
Fill in the competition details
Complete the core information fields at the top of the form:
- Title — the name of the competition as it will appear to customers.
- Description — a clear summary of what’s being won and any relevant terms.
- Image — upload the competition’s featured image using the panel on the right-hand side of the form.
- Category — set this to Active Competitions to ensure the competition appears in the correct section of your storefront.
Configure ticket and date settings
Scroll down to the competition details section to set the parameters that control how the draw works:
- Minimum tickets — the lowest ticket number in the draw range.
- Maximum tickets — the highest ticket number in the draw range.
- Start date — when customers can begin purchasing tickets.
- End date — when ticket sales close and the draw is triggered.
If you want to run an auto-draw instead of a live-streamed draw, untick the “Live Draw the Winner” option. The platform will then select the winner automatically when the competition ends.
Enable automatic ticket number generation
Tick the “Automatically Generate Ticket Numbers” checkbox. This ensures every customer who purchases a ticket receives a unique, randomly assigned number that falls within the minimum and maximum range you specified above.
Publish or schedule the competition
Please double-check you have entered the correct information before setting a competition live. When you’re ready, look for the Publish panel in the top-right corner of the page:
- Click the blue Publish button to make the competition live immediately.
- Or, edit the publish date and time fields in the panel to schedule the competition to go live at a future date and time.
