Instant prizes allow customers to win a reward the moment they reveal their ticket, regardless of the main competition draw. Once a competition has been created, you can layer instant-win outcomes on top of it using the built-in ticket generator — a fast way to assign prizes to random ticket numbers without any manual work. Before following this guide, make sure you have already created a competition. If you haven’t done that yet, see the Adding a Competition guide first.

Setting up instant prizes

1

Enable Instant Prizes on the competition

Open the competition you want to add instant prizes to and click Enable Instant Prizes. The instant prizes interface will appear, giving you several options for adding tickets.
2

Open the ticket generator

The primary way to add instant prizes is via the dark blue button in the instant prizes interface — this opens the ticket generator tool, which most operators use to assign prizes to random ticket numbers automatically.
3

Add a prize and set the quantity

Click Add Prizes and fill in the two required fields:
  • Prize Name — the name of the reward that customers will see when they win. For site credit, use the keyword Site Credit or request a custom keyword from the team (e.g. £5 Site Credit).
  • Number of tickets — how many tickets you want to assign this instant prize to.
Using Site Credit (or a custom credit keyword) as the Prize Name tells the platform to automatically reward the customer’s account balance the moment they reveal a winning ticket — no manual payout needed.
For example, entering £5 Site Credit as the Prize Name will automatically credit £5 to any customer who holds that winning ticket.
4

Generate the instant prizes

Click Generate. The platform will assign the prize to randomly selected ticket numbers within your competition’s range. You’ll see the instant prize listed in the interface with its randomly assigned ticket numbers.
5

Save or publish the competition

Once you’re happy with the instant prizes you’ve added:
  • Click Save as Draft to hold the competition without making it visible to customers.
  • Click Publish if you’re ready for the competition and its instant prizes to go live on the frontend.
