Microsoft login connects TecniLauncher to your licensed Minecraft: Java Edition account. Once signed in, your username and skin are displayed in the launcher, and you can join servers that require a genuine (online-mode) account.
1

Open the launcher and click Microsoft Login

Launch TecniLauncher and click Microsoft Login (also labeled Sign in with Microsoft on some screens).
2

Sign in with your Microsoft account

A browser window opens to Microsoft’s sign-in page. Enter the credentials for the Microsoft account linked to your Minecraft purchase.
3

Authorize TecniLauncher

Follow the prompts to authorize the launcher. TecniLauncher uses CmlLib, an open-source authentication library. Your password is never stored by the launcher.
4

Confirm your profile

Once authorized, your Minecraft username and skin appear in the launcher. Your skin is fetched from Minotar.
Your session token is saved locally at %APPDATA%\.TecniLauncher\Data\tcl_session.json. This means you won’t need to sign in again on the next launch — TecniLauncher attempts silent re-authentication automatically at startup.

Signing out

Click your profile avatar or account name in the launcher, then select Sign out. This deletes the saved session file at %APPDATA%\.TecniLauncher\Data\tcl_session.json.

Requirements

You must have a valid Minecraft: Java Edition license tied to the Microsoft account you sign in with. If your account does not own Minecraft, authentication will succeed but the game will not launch.
