TecniLauncher is distributed as a Windows installer available on GitHub Releases. The setup wizard installs the launcher, and on first launch TecniLauncher automatically creates its data directory and downloads any required components.
1

Download the installer

Go to the TecniLauncher Releases page and download the latest installer. The file is named TecniLauncher_Setup_v1.4.0.exe for the current release.
2

Run the installer

Double-click TecniLauncher_Setup_v1.4.0.exe to start the setup wizard.
Windows SmartScreen may display a warning because TecniLauncher is an open-source application not yet widely known to Microsoft’s systems. To proceed, click More info and then Run anyway. The installer is safe — you can verify it against the official GitHub Releases page.
3

Follow the setup wizard

The installer will ask you to choose an installation directory. The default is your Program Files folder, but you can select any location you prefer. Click Install to complete setup.
4

Launch TecniLauncher

Once installation finishes, click Finish (or open TecniLauncher from your Start menu or desktop shortcut). On first launch, TecniLauncher automatically creates its data directory and sets up the folder structure it needs.

Data directory

TecniLauncher stores your configuration, profiles, and Minecraft files separately from the application install. These folders are created automatically the first time you run the launcher:
FolderPathContents
Data%APPDATA%\.TecniLauncher\Data\config.json, perfiles.json, session files
Global%APPDATA%\.TecniLauncher\Global\Shared Minecraft assets and libraries
Instances%APPDATA%\.TecniLauncher\Instances\{profileName}\Per-profile game files and mods
Uninstalling TecniLauncher does not remove the %APPDATA%\.TecniLauncher\ directory. Your profiles, saves, and configuration are preserved unless you delete them manually.
