Enabling a mod marks it as active so it is included the next time you sync to the game directory. Disabling a mod keeps it in the staging directory but excludes it from the game.
Enabling or disabling a mod does not immediately affect the game. Changes take effect after you sync. If auto-sync is on, the sync runs automatically.

Toggle a single mod

Click the toggle switch in the Status column of any mod row to enable or disable it. The switch turns green when the mod is enabled.

Bulk enable and disable

You can enable or disable multiple mods at once using the context menu:
1

Open the context menu

Right-click anywhere in the mod list to open the context menu.
2

Select a group

Choose one of the selection options:
  • Select all — selects every mod in the current filtered view.
  • Select enabled — selects only mods that are currently enabled.
  • Select disabled — selects only mods that are currently disabled.
3

Apply the action

With mods selected, click Enable selected or Disable selected from the toolbar or context menu.
Use Select enabled followed by Disable selected to quickly turn off all active mods — for example, before switching to a different mod profile.

Auto-sync

When auto-sync is enabled in settings, BD2 Mod Manager automatically runs a sync to the game directory every time you enable or disable a mod. This keeps the game always up to date with your current selection without requiring a manual sync step.
Auto-sync with the Symlink sync method requires administrator privileges. If the app does not have elevated permissions, the sync will fail. Use Copy or Hardlink mode if you want auto-sync without running as administrator.
To toggle auto-sync, go to Settings → General and switch the Auto-sync on change option.
