Customizing your intro text

Your intro video features three separate text fields that appear in sequence, just like the iconic The Last of Us opening. Each line serves a different purpose in building your narrative.

Top line

Sets the context or location for your story

Middle line

The main focus or central message of your intro

Bottom line

Additional details or atmospheric text

How the three-line structure works

The three-line format mirrors the storytelling approach used in The Last of Us, where each title card builds on the previous one to create atmosphere and tension.
The top line typically appears first and establishes the setting. This could be:
  • A location name (“Boston, Massachusetts”)
  • A time period (“Twenty Years Later”)
  • A chapter title (“The Quarantine Zone”)
Keep the top line concise - it’s your audience’s first impression

Text input guidelines

When entering your custom text, keep these best practices in mind:
Shorter text works better for readability and impact:
  • Aim for 2-5 words per line for maximum impact
  • Longer phrases are supported but may reduce text size
  • Test different lengths to find what feels right for your video
Your text will be styled to match The Last of Us aesthetic automatically:
  • Distressed, weathered typography
  • Subtle animation and fade effects
  • Cinematic timing between each line’s appearance
Standard punctuation and special characters are supported:
  • Commas, periods, and apostrophes work perfectly
  • Numbers and common symbols are rendered correctly
  • Emoji are not recommended as they break the atmospheric aesthetic

Editing your text

You can modify your text at any point before generating the video:
  1. Simply update the text in any of the three input fields
  2. Changes are reflected instantly in your order
  3. Review all three lines together to ensure they flow naturally
  4. Click generate when you’re satisfied with your customization
Once you’ve submitted your video for generation, you cannot edit the text. Double-check your spelling and formatting before clicking “Generate Intro”!
