The palette alternates between each terracotta color and stone, creating a striped pattern of rainbow colors throughout the caves.

Features

Terracotta Caves are primarily defined by their colorful terrain palette and do not include additional feature decorations.

Environment

Terracotta Caves are the most colorful cave biome in Substratum. The alternating bands of all 16 terracotta colors create a psychedelic, rainbow-like effect underground. Unlike Subterranean Mesa which uses earth tones, Terracotta Caves embrace the full color spectrum.
This biome is excellent for gathering terracotta in all colors without needing to smelt and dye clay blocks.

Palette Configuration

The terrain generation uses:
  • Sampler Type: Cellular with domain warp
  • Frequency: 0.08
  • Warp Frequency: 0.9 (high warp creates more varied patterns)
  • Dimensions: 2D sampling
