What Is the Pet Collection?
The pet collection is an in-app library that holds the pets you’ve added to HuellAR. Think of it as your personal roster of companions — each one available to be placed life-size into any space you choose using your phone’s camera. Pets in your collection are the only ones you can summon during an AR session. Adding your pets ahead of time means that when inspiration strikes, you can jump straight into the experience without any setup delays. You can also store multiple pets and switch between them freely, so whether you have one furry friend or a whole household of animals, they can all have a place in your collection.Managing Your Collection
Getting your pets into the collection and keeping them organized is straightforward. Follow these steps to get started:Open the app and go to your collection
Launch HuellAR and navigate to the pet collection screen. You’ll find it in the main menu or via the collection icon in the app’s navigation bar.
Add a new pet
Tap the option to add a new pet and follow the in-app prompts. You’ll be guided through the process of setting up your pet’s profile so HuellAR can represent them in AR.
Select a pet as your active AR pet
Once a pet is in your collection, tap on it to set it as your active AR pet. This is the pet that will appear when you start your next AR session. You can change the active pet at any time.
Using a Pet in AR
Once your collection has at least one pet, you’re ready to place them in the real world. During an AR session, you’ll be prompted to choose from your collection right after HuellAR maps the environment around you. Selecting a pet from the list will place them life-size into the scene, anchored to the surface your camera detected. Ready to try it?
