Taking an AR Photo
Capturing a still photo in HuellAR is quick and straightforward. Get your scene set up, find the perfect angle, and tap to capture.Place your pet in the AR scene
Open the AR camera, point your phone at a flat surface, and wait for HuellAR to detect the environment. Your pet will appear at life-size scale once the surface is locked. See Using the AR Camera for detailed setup tips.
Frame your shot
Move around your pet to find the angle that looks best. You can get close for a detailed portrait, step back to show the full body, or crouch down to get a ground-level perspective. The AR model stays anchored in place as you move.
Tap the camera button to capture
When you are happy with the framing, tap the camera button on screen. HuellAR will capture a photo of the live AR view, including your pet and the real-world background behind it.
Your photo is saved to the Memory Gallery
The captured photo is automatically saved to your Memory Gallery inside HuellAR, where you can view, manage, and share it at any time.
Recording an AR Video
Videos bring AR moments to life in a way that photos cannot. Record your pet moving through a real space and capture the full life-size experience.Place your pet in the AR scene
Set up the AR scene just as you would for a photo — find a flat surface, let HuellAR lock the environment, and confirm your pet is placed where you want it.
Tap and hold the record button to start recording
Press and hold the record button to begin capturing video. The button will change appearance to indicate recording is in progress. Move around freely to capture the scene from different angles.
Release to stop recording
Release the record button when you are done. HuellAR will finish processing the video clip and prepare it for saving.
Your video is saved to the Memory Gallery
The recorded video is automatically saved to your Memory Gallery, alongside any photos you have taken.
Sharing Your Moments
HuellAR makes it easy to share your captured AR photos and videos with the people in your life. Once a photo or video is saved in your Memory Gallery, you can share it in two ways:- Share directly from the Memory Gallery — open any item in your gallery, tap the Share button, and choose the app or contact you want to send it to. Messages, WhatsApp, email, and any other sharing app on your device are all supported.
- Save to your device camera roll — you can export any photo or video from HuellAR to your device’s native camera roll, where it becomes available to any app on your phone.
