HuellAR is a mobile augmented reality app that lets pet owners place a life-size 3D model of their pet anywhere in the real world using their smartphone camera. Simply open the app, point your camera at any surface, choose your pet, and watch them appear right in front of you — true to size and ready to be captured in photos and videos.
HuellAR is currently in development. An exact launch date has not been announced yet, but the team is working hard to bring the app to you as soon as possible. The best way to stay informed is to join the waitlist at huellar.app — you will receive a single email the moment the app launches.
HuellAR is being built for both iOS and Android. The app targets modern smartphones that support augmented reality features. Specific minimum device requirements will be confirmed at launch. If your phone was released in the last few years and supports AR, you are very likely to be compatible.
No special hardware is required. HuellAR uses your phone’s built-in camera and the AR capabilities that come standard on modern smartphones. There is no need for extra equipment, headsets, or accessories — just your phone and a love for your pet.
Joining is simple:
  1. Visit huellar.app in your browser.
  2. Enter your email address in the sign-up field.
  3. Submit the form.
That is it. You will receive one email when HuellAR launches — no newsletters, no spam, just the launch notification you asked for.
HuellAR is designed to support a variety of pet types. Your collection of pets is managed directly inside the app, so you can build your own gallery of companions. The full list of supported animals will be detailed when the app launches. If you have questions about a specific pet, send a note to hola@huellar.app.
HuellAR uses your phone’s camera and AR engine to detect flat surfaces in your environment — floors, tables, grass, you name it. Once a surface is detected, the app overlays a life-size 3D model of your chosen pet onto that surface in real space. The result looks as though your pet is actually there with you, wherever you are.The experience follows three simple steps:
  1. Open the app and point your camera at the space around you.
  2. Choose your pet from your in-app collection.
  3. Enjoy and capture — take photos or videos to keep or share.
Yes! HuellAR includes built-in tools for capturing AR photos and videos. Once your pet appears in augmented reality, you can snap a photo or record a short video directly within the app. Your captures are saved to your in-app memory gallery, and you can also share them directly from the app to your favourite social platforms or messaging apps.
Your memory gallery — photos and videos you capture within the app — is stored locally on your device. The only personal data collected for the pre-launch waitlist is your email address, which is used solely to notify you when HuellAR becomes available. The team does not sell or share your email with third parties, and you will receive no more than one message from the waitlist.
