Proton VPN for Android is a free, open-source VPN application built on the same privacy principles as Proton Mail. It protects your internet connection using industry-leading protocols — WireGuard, IKEv2/IPSec, and Smart protocol — and includes advanced features like NetShield ad blocking, SecureCore routing, and split tunneling. The app is available on Google Play, F-Droid, and GitHub. All builds (except F-Droid) are signed with the same certificate, and the source code is fully auditable under the GPLv3 license.
