What is Collapse?

Collapse is an advanced, open-source game launcher for Windows that supports all currently released miHoYo/HoYoverse games. Originally designed for Honkai Impact 3rd, it has grown to cover the full miHoYo game catalog and supports external games via a plugin system. The name “Collapse” comes from the Chinese and Japanese translations of Honkai — 崩坏 (Bēng huài) and 崩壊 (Houkai) — both meaning “Collapse.”

Honkai Impact 3rd

Collapse provides several features beyond those available in the official launcher:

• Caches download — pre-download game caches (equivalent to “Updating Settings” in-game) without launching the game
• Game data repair — verify and repair game files using less bandwidth than the in-game Data Repair feature
• Game settings editor — change graphics and audio settings without opening the game
• Multi-region support — download and launch Global, SEA, and CN versions side by side
• Version conversion — convert between Steam and Global, or between Global and SEA, without re-downloading the full game
• Multi-session download — parallel download sessions for faster game installation
• Multi-thread extraction — parallel archive extraction to speed up installation
• Delta-patch updates — smaller update packages that patch only changed files
• Graphics API selection — choose between DirectX 11 (Feature Levels 10.1, 11.0, 11.1) and DirectX 12

• Voice-line language selection — choose your audio language during initial installation, avoiding an extra in-game download step
• Full game repair — repair game caches, cutscenes, audio packs, and persistent files from within the launcher

Privacy and error tracking

Collapse does not transfer user data to third-party servers beyond what is described in its Privacy Policy. Exception data is sent to Sentry.io for error tracking purposes. You can disable this behavior in App Settings. Free code signing is provided by SignPath.io, with certificates from the SignPath Foundation.
