The Calendar section gives you a monthly grid view of all your tasks that have reminder dates attached. You can navigate between months, select a day to see its tasks, and capture new tasks directly onto a chosen date. Date cells with scheduled tasks show a small fraction (for example, 1/3) indicating how many are done versus the total.
Tasks in the Calendar view are not a separate type of task — they are the same tasks from Today, Calendar, and your custom lists that have a reminderAt date set. Any task with a reminder date appears on the calendar grid on the day its reminder is due.
Use the left chevron () and right chevron () buttons on either side of the month label to move backward and forward one month at a time. The current month and year are displayed in the header. To jump back to the current date, click the today button that appears in the calendar header. This resets the calendar cursor to the current month and selects today’s date.

Selecting a day

Click any date cell in the grid to select it. The selected day is highlighted, and the task list below the grid updates to show only the tasks scheduled for that day. Date cells that have scheduled tasks show a small fraction label (for example, 1/3) indicating how many tasks on that day are done versus total. Empty date cells show no indicator.

Adding a task to a selected day

With a day selected, use the task capture input that appears below the calendar grid to add a new task. When you press Enter, Todobar creates the task with its reminder automatically set to 9:00 am on the selected day. The task appears immediately in the day’s task list and as a dot on the grid.

Calendar task actions

Each task in the selected-day list supports the same actions available in the Today section:
  • Complete — click the circle icon to mark the task done.
  • Priority — click the priority icon to cycle between focus, normal, and later.
  • Reminder — click the bell icon to quick-cycle the reminder time, or use the full date-time input to set a precise time.
  • Delete — click the trash icon to remove the task. Hold Shift to skip the confirmation prompt.

Backlog

Below the selected-day task list, Todobar shows a Backlog section containing any calendar tasks that do not yet have a reminder date. You can set a reminder on these tasks directly from this view to schedule them onto the grid.
