Progression tips

1

Start with Tier 1

Craft Entertainer’s Garb and a Wooden Lute or Golden Lyre. This provides a solid foundation for early game Bard play.
2

Advance to Tier 2

When you have diamonds, upgrade to Troubadour’s Garb and Diamond Lute/Lyre/Rapier. This significantly increases your spell power.
3

Push to Tier 3

Netherite Troubadour’s Garb and Netherite weapons are your endgame baseline. The +100% spell power and +20% movement speed make a huge difference.
4

Install optional mods for Tier 4-5

  • Better Nether: Ruby equipment
  • Better End: Aeternium equipment
  • Aether: Valkyrie/Angelic equipment
  • Armory RPGs: Storyteller armor (Tier 5)
  • Loot N Explore: Boss weapons
  • Arsenal: Named unique weapons
5

Hunt for uniques

Farm bosses and high-level loot for rare Tier 5 weapons with special effects.

Choosing your weapon path

For melee-focused Bards
