Key features

Three weapon types

Bards wield three distinct weapon categories, each serving a different role in combat:
  • Rapiers - Swift piercing swords for agile melee combat with reduced attack speed (-2.0)
  • Lutes - Arcane damage staffs that boost both Arcane and Healing spell power equally
  • Lyres - Healing-focused staffs with 1.5x Healing power but only 0.5x Arcane power

Progression tiers

All weapons progress through familiar Minecraft tiers:
1

Golden tier

Entry-level equipment with lower durability but available early
2

Iron tier

Basic progression for new bards
3

Diamond tier

Mid-game power spike with solid stats
4

Netherite tier

Endgame equipment with maximum durability
5

Special materials

Ruby (Better Nether), Aeternium (Better End), Aether materials, and boss-themed uniques

Bard armor sets

Specialized armor sets grant movement speed and spell power bonuses:
  • Entertainer’s Garb (Tier 1) - 15% Arcane/Healing power, 3% movement speed per piece
  • Troubadour’s Garb (Tier 2) - 20% Arcane/Healing power, 4% movement speed per piece

  • Storyteller’s Garb (Tier 5) - 30% Arcane/Healing power, 6% movement speed per piece (requires Armory RPGs mod)
All armor pieces are crafted from wool with low protection values but high enchantability, focusing on magical power over physical defense.
