SmartBugMedia uses two separate credentials to protect your funds: a security PIN for authorizing sensitive actions, and a withdrawal password (also called withdrawal PIN) set during registration. These are independent of your login password.

Security PIN

Your security PIN is a 6-digit numeric code that guards access to withdrawal and fund transfer operations. It is separate from your login password and from your withdrawal password.

Setting up your security PIN

1

Open Security Center

Go to Profile → Security Center. If you have not yet set a PIN, the page shows a prompt to create one.
2

Enter a 6-digit PIN

Type your chosen PIN in the Security PIN field. The PIN must be exactly 6 numeric digits. Letters and special characters are not accepted.
3

Confirm your PIN

Re-enter the same PIN in the Confirm PIN field. Both fields must match before you can save.
4

Save

Click Set Security PIN. Your PIN is saved and the Security Center shows a green confirmation indicator.

Updating your security PIN

If you already have a PIN set, the Security Center shows an Update PIN form. Follow the same steps above — enter your new PIN and confirm it, then click Update PIN.
Never share your security PIN with anyone. SmartBugMedia support agents — referred to as the Concierge Desk — will never ask for your PIN under any circumstances. Anyone requesting your PIN is attempting fraud.

Withdrawal password

Your withdrawal password (called Withdrawal PIN in the registration form) is a 6-digit code you set during sign-up. It is required every time you initiate a withdrawal. Unlike the security PIN, the withdrawal password is set during registration and is stored on your profile as withdrawal_password. If you need to reset it, contact support through the Concierge Desk.
Store your withdrawal password in a secure location. If you forget it, you will not be able to process withdrawals until the password is reset by support.

Login password

Your login password controls access to your account. To change it:
1

Open Settings

Go to Profile → Settings and tap Change Password under the Account Security section.
2

Enter a new password

Type your new password. It must be at least 6 characters long.
3

Confirm the new password

Re-enter the new password to confirm it. Both fields must match.
4

Save

Tap Save Changes. Your password is updated immediately.
If you forget your login password, use the Forgot password link on the login page. A password reset link will be sent to your registered email address.
Password reset by email requires a verified email address on your account. If you registered without an email, contact support through the Concierge Desk for assistance.

Identity verification and account security

Completing identity verification adds an additional layer of security to your account. Verified accounts:
  • Have confirmed government-issued identity on file.
  • Can process withdrawals without restriction.
  • Are protected against unauthorized withdrawal requests, since documents must match your identity.
If your verification is rejected, review the reason provided and resubmit with clearer, unobstructed document images. See Registration for the full verification workflow.

Best practices

Follow these guidelines to keep your account secure:
  • Use a unique, strong password that you do not use on other platforms.
  • Do not share your login credentials, security PIN, or withdrawal password with anyone.
  • If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, change your login password immediately and contact the Concierge Desk.
  • Keep your registered email address active and accessible so you can use password recovery if needed.
  • Verify your identity early — it removes withdrawal restrictions and confirms your account is protected under your real identity.
  • Log out of your account on shared or public devices after each session.
