Data we collect

SmartBugMedia collects the minimum personal information necessary to operate the platform securely and deliver its services. The following categories of data are collected: Account and profile data

• Username, display name, email address, and phone number provided during registration.
• Your selected language and currency preferences.
• Your referral code and the referral code used when you registered (if any).
• Avatar image, if uploaded.

Financial and transaction data

• Wallet balance, profit, total earnings, referral earnings, and freeze balance (as tracked in your Profile).
• Wallet address and withdrawal wallet address.
• Full transaction history: deposits, withdrawals, commissions, freeze and unfreeze events, including amounts, statuses, and timestamps.

Task activity data

• Completed task count, current set number, and last reset timestamp.
• Individual task records including earned amounts, task status, and completion timestamps.
• Pending bundle task state.

Identity verification data

• Document type selected (national ID, passport, or driver’s license).
• Front and back images of your verification document (verification_front_url, verification_back_url).
• Verification status: unverified, pending, verified, or rejected.

Security credentials

• Hashed login password, hashed withdrawal password, and hashed security PIN. These are never stored or transmitted in plain text.

Technical and session data

• Session tokens used to maintain your authenticated session.
• Basic usage data required to detect fraud or unauthorized access.

How we use your data

Your data is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Account management: Creating and maintaining your account, authenticating your identity at login, and processing account-level settings changes.
• Task matching and execution: Assigning tasks appropriate to your VIP tier, tracking set progress, and calculating earned commissions.
• Transaction processing: Verifying deposits, processing withdrawal requests, crediting referral commissions, and maintaining an auditable transaction ledger.
• Identity verification: Reviewing your submitted documents to confirm your identity before approving withdrawals.
• Security and fraud prevention: Detecting unauthorized access, enforcing the one-account-per-person policy, and protecting platform integrity.
• Customer support: Investigating account issues, resolving disputes, and responding to your inquiries.

Data security

SmartBugMedia applies multiple layers of security to protect your data: Row-Level Security (RLS) All user data in the database is governed by Row-Level Security policies. This means each user can only read and write their own records — no user can access another user’s profile, transaction history, or verification documents through any API call. Encrypted sessions Authentication sessions use encrypted session tokens. Tokens are rotated on login and invalidated on logout. Your login password, withdrawal password, and security PIN are stored using one-way cryptographic hashing and are never recoverable in plain text. Separation of credentials Three separate credentials protect your account: your login password, your withdrawal password, and your security PIN. This ensures that compromising one credential alone is not sufficient to authorize financial transactions. Blockchain transaction infrastructure USDT transactions are processed on public blockchain networks (TRC-20 / ERC-20), providing tamper-resistant transaction verification and transparent, auditable financial records.

Identity verification data handling

Verification documents (front and back images of your ID) are uploaded and stored securely. Access to these files is restricted:

• Document images are stored at unique, non-guessable URLs (verification_front_url, verification_back_url).
• Access is limited to authorized verification reviewers and is governed by Row-Level Security.
• Documents are used solely to confirm your identity before processing your first withdrawal.
• After verification is complete, document images are retained for compliance and fraud prevention purposes.

If your verification is rejected, you will be notified and given the opportunity to resubmit corrected documents.

Data retention

If you request account deletion, your profile data and task history will be removed from active systems. Transaction records may be retained for legal and compliance obligations.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data held about your account by contacting support.
• Correct inaccurate account details through your account settings or by contacting support.
• Request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to retention obligations described above.
• Withdraw consent for non-essential data processing by adjusting your notification preferences in account settings.

If you believe your data has been misused, or if you observe suspicious behavior involving your account or the SmartBugMedia platform, contact the support team immediately through the official in-platform support channel. Include a written description of the issue and any relevant screenshots. For general privacy inquiries, reach out to the support team through the platform. SmartBugMedia does not accept privacy requests submitted through unofficial channels.
