ED Floor Visits provides a real-time feed of patient floor visits and medical device allocations across emergency department units. The view gives care coordinators and clinical staff an up-to-date snapshot of active patient movement and equipment usage without needing to leave the PC Connect dashboard.

What This View Shows

The ED Floor Visits view surfaces two key data streams:
  • Patient floor visits feed — real-time records of patients currently placed on ED floors, updated as visit data changes.
  • Medical device allocations — equipment assigned to patients or floor bays at the time the feed was last loaded.
This is a live-feed view. The data displayed reflects the state of the system at the moment the feed was last loaded or refreshed. It does not update automatically in the background — use the Refresh Visit Feed button to pull the latest records.

Refreshing the Feed

Click the Refresh Visit Feed button to reload the latest patient floor visits and device allocation data from the source system.
