The administrator dashboard is the operational control center of ExamPlatform. From a single screen, admins can see the state of the entire platform at a glance — how many users are registered, how many exams are live or upcoming, and what activity has occurred recently. It is the first screen you land on after signing in with an admin account, and every section of the admin panel is reachable from the sidebar navigation displayed here.Documentation Index

Summary Cards
The top of the dashboard displays nine at-a-glance metric cards that update in real time as the platform state changes.| Card | What it shows |

| Total Students | The total number of registered student accounts on the platform |
| Total Examiners | The total number of examiner accounts |
| Total Admins | The total number of administrator accounts |
| Total Exams | The cumulative count of all exams created across all statuses |
| Total Questions | The total number of questions in the question bank |
| Live Exams | Exams that are currently open and accepting active sessions |
| Upcoming Exams | Exams that are scheduled but whose start time has not yet arrived |
| Active Exams | Exams in the active window — open and running but may not yet have live sessions |
| Completed Exams | Exams whose end time has passed and that are no longer accepting submissions |
Recent Activity Feed
Below the summary cards, the Recent Activity feed shows a live-updating list of significant platform events — such as user creation, exam publication, result publication, and force-submit events. Each entry shows the action, the actor, and the timestamp, giving you an immediate audit trail without needing to open the full Audit Logs page. If no events have occurred since the platform was last active, the feed displays “No recent activity.”Admin Sidebar Navigation
