The Desktop App Store is the central hub for expanding what you can do in Desktop mode. Rather than arriving at a fixed set of icons you cannot change, Desktop mode gives you a living catalogue of apps to browse and install, letting you build a workspace that reflects how you actually use the platform. The store is integrated directly into the desktop environment — it opens in its own window, connects to your account, and tracks what you have installed so your library follows you across sessions. Whether you are looking for a specific game, a shortcut to a web service, or a utility that helps you manage your desktop, the app store is where you go first.Documentation Index

Opening the App Store
There are several ways to reach the app store from within Desktop mode, so you can always get to it quickly regardless of what you are doing.- From the Dock — If the App Store is pinned to your dock (it is there by default), a single click opens it as a window on the desktop surface.
- From the Launcher — Open the launcher and search for “App Store,” then click the result to open it. This works even if you have removed the App Store from your dock.
- Via AI Command — Ask the Desktop AI assistant to open the app store. A command like “Open the App Store” is enough. The assistant will open it as a window immediately, without any additional clicks required.
App Categories
The App Store organizes its catalogue into three main categories, making it straightforward to browse by the type of content you are looking for. Game Apps The game category contains the installable versions of Crafted Gamz’s game library. Installing a game app makes it available from your launcher as a persistent entry you can open any time, rather than navigating to it through the Website or Browser modes. Games span the full range of the platform’s library — arcade, puzzle, action, and more. Internet Apps Internet apps are wrappers around popular web services and destinations that are packaged to open as Desktop mode windows. These let you access online resources directly inside the Desktop environment without switching to a separate mode. Utility Apps Utility apps are tools that help you manage or extend the desktop environment itself. This category includes things like settings panels, system tools, and other functional add-ons that make Desktop mode more capable or more convenient to use day-to-day.Installing Apps
Installing an app from the store is a straightforward process that takes only a few steps.Open the App Store
Click the App Store icon in the dock, search for it in the launcher, or ask the AI assistant to open it for you.
Browse or Search for an App
Use the category tabs to browse by type — Games, Internet, or Utilities — or type the name of a specific app into the search field at the top of the store window to find it directly.
Select the App
Click the app’s tile or listing to open its detail view, where you can read a description and see what the app does before committing to installing it.
Click Install
Press the Install button on the app’s detail page. The app is added to your library immediately. A confirmation message will indicate that the installation is complete.
Managing Installed Apps
Once an app is installed, you have several options for how you interact with it going forward. Opening from the Launcher Every installed app is always accessible through the launcher. Open the launcher, search for the app by name or scroll to find it, and click its icon to launch it as a Desktop mode window. Pinning to the Dock After installing an app, you can pin it to the dock directly from the install confirmation screen, from the launcher’s right-click menu, or by asking the AI assistant. Pinned apps sit in the dock permanently and open with a single click.AI-Assisted App Management
The Desktop AI assistant is aware of the app store and your installed library, which means you can manage apps entirely through natural language without opening the store UI at all. The assistant can:- List available apps — Ask “What apps are available in the store?” and the assistant will summarize the catalogue for you.
- List your installed apps — Ask “What apps do I have installed?” to get a rundown of your current library.
- Install apps on command — Say “Install Snake” or “Install Calculator” and the assistant will find and install the app immediately.
- Open apps after installing — Follow up an install command with “Now open it” and the assistant will launch the newly installed app without any additional navigation.
