Crafted Gamz is a multi-mode browser platform that combines games, proxy browsing, AI, media, apps, and a desktop-style environment into a single experience. It is designed to give users one place to play, browse, personalize their setup, and return to a workspace that still feels familiar.The platform runs entirely in the browser — no installation required — and is especially well-suited to Chromebooks and other managed devices where installing software is restricted. No. Crafted Gamz runs entirely in your browser without any downloads, extensions, or native applications. You can use every feature — games, proxy, AI, media, apps, and the full desktop environment — directly from a browser tab.If you want a more app-like experience, Crafted Gamz is also available as a Progressive Web App (PWA). Installing the PWA adds Crafted Gamz to your home screen or Chromebook launcher with the name Crafted Gamz (short name: C-Gamz), and it opens in standalone mode without browser navigation chrome. To install, look for the install prompt in the address bar when you visit the platform.PWA installation is entirely optional — the full platform is accessible either way.
Crafted Gamz is organized around three distinct environments, each suited to a different style of use:Website mode is the most familiar and immediate face of the platform. It resembles a classic unblocked games and proxy site, with a game library, app shortcuts, AI chat, music and movie pages, and a search and proxy section. It is the fastest way to get started.Desktop mode is the most expansive environment. It is designed to feel like a lightweight browser-native operating system — modeled loosely on macOS — with a windowed desktop, a dock, a launcher, an app store, and a built-in AI assistant that can interact directly with the desktop. If you want a persistent, configurable workspace, Desktop mode is the clearest expression of that.Browser mode turns Crafted Gamz into a full proxy browsing environment with tabs, back/forward navigation, a real address bar, bookmarks, server switching, theme control, and internal cg:// pages. No. Guest access is available for users who want to get started quickly without signing in. As a guest you can access games, proxy features, AI chat, media, and all three modes without creating an account.However, the broader platform is built around long-term use and returning identity. A signed-in account enables:
  • Your preferred mode being remembered across sessions
  • Synced bookmarks, pinned apps, and open tabs in Browser mode
  • Account-backed onboarding progress
  • Desktop app and settings state that persists between visits
  • Access to the same workspace from any device
If you plan to use Crafted Gamz regularly, signing in is strongly recommended.
Crafted Gamz supports three sign-in methods:
  • Google — sign in with any Google account
  • GitHub — sign in with your GitHub account
  • Email and password — create a Crafted Gamz-specific account with an email address and password
All three providers offer the same account-backed continuity features. Choose whichever you prefer. You can manage your sign-in provider and profile from the Settings page.
The proxy system in Crafted Gamz is built on three layers working together:
  1. Proxy engines — Crafted Gamz uses two proxy engines: Scramjet (primary) and Ultraviolet (alternative). Both rewrite URLs, headers, and page content client-side so that proxied sites load correctly inside the browser sandbox.
  2. Wisp WebSocket transport — Instead of making raw TCP connections (which browsers cannot do natively), the proxy engines tunnel connections over WebSocket using the Wisp protocol. This is what enables true web access without any native networking permissions.
  3. Service worker — A browser service worker intercepts outbound requests and routes them through Scramjet. The service worker is registered automatically when you load the platform and handles all proxy traffic without any user configuration.
The entire proxy stack runs inside the browser — no extension, VPN, or native binary is needed. The service worker also includes a built-in ad and tracker blocker that filters hundreds of ad domains and path patterns before they ever reach the network.For full technical details, see the Proxy Engines reference. Yes. Crafted Gamz is specifically designed with Chromebooks and managed browser environments in mind. Because the entire proxy stack — including both the Scramjet and Ultraviolet engines — runs inside a browser service worker using WebSocket connections, no native application installation or OS-level permission is required.This means the proxy works within Chrome OS’s sandboxed environment, even on school-managed or policy-restricted Chromebooks where installing software or extensions is not permitted. Crafted Gamz includes a library of more than 100 browser games spanning a wide range of categories — action, adventure, puzzle, arcade, and more. Games are playable directly in the browser with no downloads or plugins required.Games are accessible from all three modes:
  • In Website mode, the game library is the main landing experience and is browsable from the home page.
  • In Desktop mode, games are available as installable apps through the App Store. You can pin favorite games to your dock for quick access.
  • In Browser mode, the cg://games internal page provides a full game directory within the browser environment.

Yes. AI chat is available in both Website mode and Browser mode — you do not need to be in Desktop mode to have a conversation with the AI assistant.
  • In Website mode, the AI chat interface is accessible from the main navigation.
  • In Browser mode, the cg://ai internal page opens the AI chat experience within the browser environment.
The AI in these modes functions as a conversational assistant — you can ask questions, get help with content, or use it as a general-purpose AI chat interface.What is unique to Desktop mode is the system integration layer. See the next question for details on what the Desktop AI can do beyond standard chat.
The Desktop AI assistant has the ability to interact directly with the desktop environment itself — not just respond to questions. In addition to standard conversational AI, it functions as a Jarvis-style system helper that can perform actions on your behalf:
  • List installed apps — ask what apps you have installed and get a real-time answer
  • Browse the App Store — ask which apps are available for installation
  • Install apps — instruct the assistant to install an app from the store
  • Open apps — tell it to open any installed app
  • Close or minimize windows — manage open windows by voice or text command
  • Pin and unpin apps — adjust your dock without navigating the UI manually
  • Open Settings or the App Store — navigate to system areas via natural language
This level of system control is exclusive to Desktop mode because it requires the desktop shell’s window management and app state to be active. Yes. Crafted Gamz includes dedicated media sections for both movies and music, accessible from all three modes.
  • Website mode includes movie and music pages as part of the main site navigation.
  • Desktop mode offers media apps that can be installed, launched in windows, and pinned to the dock — just like any other desktop application.
  • Browser mode provides cg://movies and cg://music internal pages accessible from the address bar.
Media playback runs entirely in the browser with no additional software required. For more details on what the media features include, see the Media feature page.
cg:// pages are internal pages unique to Browser mode in Crafted Gamz. They work like chrome:// or about: pages in a standard browser — you type them in the address bar and they load a built-in Crafted Gamz page rather than navigating to an external website.Available internal pages include:

You can switch between Website, Desktop, and Browser mode at any time from within the platform. The mode-switching control is accessible from the main navigation in Website mode and from the top bar or launcher in Desktop mode.If you have a signed-in account, your preferred mode is remembered and the platform will return you to it automatically on your next visit. Yes. Crafted Gamz is free to use. The full platform — including all games, proxy features, AI chat, media, apps, and the Desktop and Browser mode environments — is available at no cost.No subscription, payment, or account is required to access the core experience. Creating a free account unlocks continuity features like synced settings, bookmarks, and persistent desktop state, but the platform itself does not charge for these.
In guest mode, Crafted Gamz stores your preferences and state locally in the browser. This means:
  • Your settings, theme choices, and any configurations you make will persist within the same browser session and across page reloads.
  • When the browser session ends, or if you clear site data for Crafted Gamz, all locally stored guest data will be lost.
  • Your data is not synced to any account and cannot be recovered after the session ends.
  • Guest data is not tied to any identity and is not transmitted to Crafted Gamz servers.
If you want your setup to persist between visits and across devices, sign in with Google, GitHub, or email. Account-backed data is stored securely and remains available whenever you sign in, regardless of which browser or device you use.See the Accounts guide for full details on what is and is not synced.
