Maple is a fully implemented wood type added by Yeast ‘n Feast. It covers every block and item slot that vanilla wood sets provide — logs, planks, all six structural variants, signs, hanging signs, and boats — giving you a complete building palette with a distinct maple aesthetic. Maple trees generate naturally in Forest biomes and can also be grown from a Maple Sapling.

Obtaining maple wood

Maple Logs drop from Maple Trees, which spawn in Forest biomes alongside oak and birch trees. You can also grow your own trees by planting a Maple Sapling on grass or dirt and waiting for it to mature (or using bone meal to speed growth).
Use an axe on a Maple Log or Maple Wood block to strip it, converting it to its stripped variant and recovering the bark material.

Blocks

Logs and wood

BlockNotes
Maple LogRaw log with bark on all sides (rotatable pillar)
Stripped Maple LogLog with bark removed; same pillar behaviour
Maple WoodAll-bark block (rotatable pillar)
Stripped Maple WoodAll-bark block with bark removed
Strip a Maple Log or Maple Wood block by right-clicking it with any axe. The bark is removed and the block converts to its stripped variant in place.

Planks and derived blocks

Maple Planks are crafted from any maple log variant. All structural blocks below are crafted from Maple Planks in the same recipes as their oak equivalents.

Maple Planks

Base crafting material for all maple structural blocks.

Maple Stairs

Stair block equivalent to Oak Stairs.

Maple Slab

Half-block equivalent to Oak Slab.

Maple Button

Wooden button equivalent to Oak Button.

Maple Pressure Plate

Pressure plate equivalent to Oak Pressure Plate.

Maple Fence

Fence block equivalent to Oak Fence.

Maple Fence Gate

Fence gate equivalent to Oak Fence Gate.

Maple Trapdoor

Trapdoor equivalent to Oak Trapdoor.

Maple Door

Door block equivalent to Oak Door.

Leaves and sapling

BlockNotes
Maple LeavesCustom MapleLeavesBlock; decays when not connected to a log
Maple SaplingGrows into a Maple Tree via MapleTreeGrower; can be bonemealed
Potted Maple SaplingDecorative flower-pot variant of the sapling

Signs

All maple sign blocks use the custom Maple wood type (ModWoodTypes.MAPLE).

Maple SignFloor-standing sign
Maple Wall SignWall-mounted sign
Maple Hanging SignCeiling-hanging sign
Maple Hanging Wall SignWall-mounted hanging sign

Items

Sign items

Sign items stack to 16, matching vanilla sign behaviour.

Boats

Maple Boat

Standard boat crafted from Maple Planks. Equivalent to Oak Boat.

Maple Chest Boat

Chest-equipped boat for transporting items. Equivalent to Oak Chest Boat.
