Yeast ‘n Feast adds 12 advancements that guide you through every major system in the mod — from your first handful of yeast to mastering mead brewing, jam-making, and feast cooking. Completing them all gives you a satisfying record of your homesteading journey.

Progression path

The advancement tree starts with the root advancement and branches outward. Most advancements are independent of each other after the root, so you can pursue them in any order that suits your playthrough.

All advancements

How to unlock: Obtain a piece of Yeast. Yeast is crafted or obtained by processing mushrooms. This is the root advancement and the first one you will trigger.Unlocking this advancement reveals all other advancements in the tree.
How to unlock: Craft a Keg and have it enter your inventory. The Keg is the primary brewing station for all meads in the mod.Check JEI for the Keg’s crafting recipe. This advancement unlocks the three mead-category advancements below it.
How to unlock: Brew both Honey Mead and Molasses Mead using the Keg. Sweet meads grant Resistance II (6:00) on consumption.Both variants must be brewed — obtaining them any other way (trades, creative) may not count depending on how the advancement is tracked.
How to unlock: Brew both Sour Mead and Thornberry Mead using the Keg. Sour meads grant Strength II (6:00) on consumption.
How to unlock: Brew both Blossom Mead and Amber Mead using the Keg. Floral meads grant Regeneration II (4:00) on consumption.
How to unlock: Craft a Jar and have it enter your inventory. Jars are used as containers for jams and require glass and wooden planks.This advancement unlocks the Jam Session advancement.
How to unlock: Collect every base-game jam in your inventory. The jams that count are:
  • Apple Jam
  • Chorus Fruit Jam
  • Elderberries Jam
  • Glow Berries Jam
  • Golden Apple Jam
  • Hawthorn Berries Jam
  • Lemon Jam
  • Melon Jam
  • Rose Hips Jam
  • Sweet Berries Jam
Compat jams (Chillberries Jam, Strawberries Jam) are added only when their respective mods are installed. The base advancement tracks the 10 core jams listed above. See the Compatibility section for compat-specific advancements.
This is one of the more involved advancements — you will need to source fruits from multiple biomes. Chorus Fruit Jam requires end-game access. Golden Apple Jam requires a Golden Apple, making it the rarest ingredient in the list.
How to unlock: Obtain Maple Syrup by placing a Tree Tap on a maple tree log and letting it collect syrup. You cannot craft or trade your way to this advancement — the syrup must come from a tapped tree.Maple trees generate in the world. Place the Tree Tap on the log and wait for the syrup to accumulate, then collect it.
How to unlock: Pick up any crop added by the mod. This includes barley, rye, mint, ginger, garlic, elderberries, hawthorn berries, rose hips, and lemon.This is one of the easiest advancements — wild crop blocks spawn in the world and can be harvested immediately on first encounter.
How to unlock: Craft a Berry Roll and have it enter your inventory. The flavour text is a playful reference — just make sure you actually pick it up from the crafting grid before it disappears.
How to unlock: Eat every bowl feast dish at least once. The five bowl dishes are:
  • Sweet Porridge
  • Spiced Porridge
  • Barley and Beef Stew
  • Salmon Chowder
  • Cheese Soup
Each dish grants the Overfed effect for 4 minutes on consumption. You must actually eat each dish — holding it in your inventory is not enough.
Bowl dishes return their bowl as a crafting remainder. Keep bowls stocked so you can craft all five without running short.
How to unlock: Eat every plate feast dish at least once. The six base plate dishes are:
  • Mead-Braised Pork
  • Herbal Cod
  • Lemon-Glazed Chicken
  • Forager’s Feast
  • Maple-Glazed Rabbit
  • Stuffed Rye Dumplings
Each dish grants the Vigorous effect for 4 minutes on consumption.
If you have Hexalia or Farm and Charm installed, additional plate dishes (Stuffed Mandrake, Maple-Rye Pancakes) are added to the mod. Those may be tracked by separate compat advancements rather than this one — check the Compatibility section for details.
This is the most ingredient-intensive advancement. Forager’s Feast and Maple-Glazed Rabbit require hunting and foraging, while Lemon-Glazed Chicken and Mead-Braised Pork need mead as an ingredient.

Tips for harder advancements

Jam Session

Plan ahead for Chorus Fruit Jam (requires end travel) and Golden Apple Jam (rare ingredient). Complete the other 8 jams first, then finish with these two.

Feast Your Eyes

Cook dishes in batches. Many plate dishes share ingredients like herbs and grains. Brewing mead first gives you the mead needed for Mead-Braised Pork.

Sweet Victory / Sour Power / Floral Finesse

All six meads require a Keg and yeast. Set up your Keg early and brew each category one at a time using the recipes visible in JEI.

Maple Story

Maple trees must be found in the world — they do not come from saplings you plant yourself (though you can grow them). Explore until you find a natural maple tree, then place your Tree Tap.
Mod compatibility advancements may appear as a separate advancement tree when Hexalia, Farmer’s Delight, or Farm and Charm are installed alongside Yeast ‘n Feast.
