Feast dishes are the most substantial food items in Yeast ‘n Feast. Every feast dish is served either in a bowl or on a plate, and eating one grants a custom 4-minute potion effect that goes well beyond ordinary food saturation. Bowl dishes grant Overfed, while plate dishes grant Vigorous — both last for 4 minutes (4:00). For a full breakdown of what these effects do, see Mob Effects.

The Overfed effect

Bowl dishes apply Overfed (4:00) when eaten. Overfed prevents your saturation from decreasing for the duration, meaning food you eat while the effect is active does not drain away — you stay full. It also slightly reduces movement speed (−10%).
You can still eat while Overfed is active. The effect only prevents saturation loss, not food consumption.

The Vigorous effect

Plate dishes apply Vigorous (4:00) when eaten. Vigorous increases your maximum health by 3 hearts (+6 to the health attribute) and boosts healing received, making you noticeably more durable for the duration.

Bowl dishes

All bowl dishes are FeastItem instances that grant Overfed for 4,800 ticks (4 minutes). They are crafted using a crafting table and return an empty bowl when consumed.

Sweet Porridge

Nutrition: 10  |  Saturation: 0.6Effect: Overfed (4:00)A simple oat and sweetener porridge. Good for early-game feast meals.

Spiced Porridge

Nutrition: 10  |  Saturation: 0.6Effect: Overfed (4:00)Porridge made with ginger or other spices. Same stats as sweet porridge with a different flavour profile.

Barley and Beef Stew

Nutrition: 14  |  Saturation: 0.75Effect: Overfed (4:00)A hearty stew combining barley grain and beef. One of the most filling bowl dishes.

Salmon Chowder

Nutrition: 12  |  Saturation: 0.8Effect: Overfed (4:00)A creamy chowder made with salmon and other ingredients. High saturation makes this one of the most efficient bowl dishes.

Cheese Soup

Nutrition: 12  |  Saturation: 0.8Effect: Overfed (4:00)A rich soup built around cheese. Requires cheese slices from a placed cheese wheel block.

Plate dishes

All plate dishes grant Vigorous for 4,800 ticks (4 minutes). They are crafted at a crafting table and return an empty Bowl when consumed.

Mead-Braised Pork

Herbal Cod

Nutrition: 10  |  Saturation: 0.6Effect: Vigorous (4:00)Cod prepared with mint, garlic, or other herbs from the mod’s crop lineup.

Lemon-Glazed Chicken

Nutrition: 14  |  Saturation: 0.75Effect: Vigorous (4:00)Chicken glazed with lemon and other seasonings. One of the most nutritious plate dishes.

Forager's Feast

Nutrition: 12  |  Saturation: 0.8Effect: Vigorous (4:00)A mixed-ingredient dish assembled from foraged berries and herbs. High saturation for its nutrition level.

Maple-Glazed Rabbit

Nutrition: 10  |  Saturation: 0.6Effect: Vigorous (4:00)Rabbit coated in maple syrup glaze. Requires maple syrup harvested from a Tree Tap.

Stuffed Rye Dumplings

Nutrition: 11  |  Saturation: 0.8Effects: Vigorous (4:00) + Strength I (10s)Dumplings made from rye dough with a savoury filling. The only plate dish that grants a second bonus effect — Strength I — in addition to Vigorous.
Stuffed Rye Dumplings are the only feast dish that provides a secondary combat effect alongside its standard feast buff. The Strength I lasts 10 seconds, so eat them just before a fight for maximum benefit.
