Yeast ‘n Feast adds two berry bushes, two fruit trees, and two sweet syrups to the game. These ingredients form the backbone of jams, pies, meads, and glazed feast dishes. Unlike farmland crops, berries and fruits are obtained by finding and harvesting world-generated plants rather than planting seeds in tilled soil.Documentation Index

Berry bushes
Both berry bushes — the Elderberry Bush and the Rose Hips Bush — work similarly to Minecraft’s vanilla Sweet Berry Bush. They grow through four age stages (0–3) and require sufficient sky light (brightness ≥ 9 above the block) to advance. Harvesting: Right-click a fully mature bush (age 3) to collect berries and reset it to age 1 so it regrows. You cannot pick berries from an immature bush. Bone Meal advances the bush by one growth stage.Elderberries
Elderberries drop from the Elderberry Bush at full maturity (2–3 berries per harvest). They are a mild food source on their own and a key ingredient in several processed foods.| Property | Value |

Obtain a sapling
Find a naturally generated Hawthorn Tree in the world and break its leaves to collect a Hawthorn Sapling.
Grow the tree
Plant the sapling on grass or dirt and give it time (or Bone Meal) to grow into a full tree. The tree starts with non-flowering leaves.
Wait for flowering
Over time, the leaf blocks transition from standard Hawthorn Tree Leaves to Flowering Hawthorn Tree Leaves as they reach age 2.
Maple Syrup
Maple Syrup is obtained by placing a Tree Tap on a Maple Log or Maple Wood block (including stripped variants). The Tree Tap must be placed on a horizontal face of the log. After the configured drip delay elapses, the tap enters adripping state, shown by a particle effect. You can collect Maple Syrup in two ways:
- Right-click the dripping tap with an empty Glass Bottle — collects one Maple Syrup bottle directly from the tap and resets it.
- Place a plain Cauldron on the ground directly below the tap — when the tap is dripping, it automatically fills the Cauldron, converting it to a Maple Syrup Cauldron. Right-click that cauldron with a Glass Bottle to collect syrup one bottle at a time.
