Installation steps
Install Minecraft Forge 1.20.1
Download the Forge 1.20.1 installer (version 47.3.5 or newer) from the official Forge project page. Run the installer and select Install client to create a new Forge profile in your Minecraft launcher. Launch the game once with the Forge profile to generate the
mods/ folder inside your .minecraft directory.Download JEI (recommended)
JEI is strongly recommended for browsing recipes in-game. Download the JEI
.jar for Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge (version 15.8.2.26) from CurseForge or Modrinth by searching for “Just Enough Items”. Make sure you select the Forge variant and the correct game version. The mod works without JEI, but discovering Keg and Cheese Press recipes will require consulting this documentation instead.Download Yeast 'n Feast
Download the Yeast ‘n Feast
.jar file from CurseForge or Modrinth. Search for “Yeast n Feast” and select the release matching Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge.Place all .jar files in your mods/ folder
Copy every downloaded
.jar file into your mods/ folder. You can find this folder at:- Windows:
%appdata%\.minecraft\mods\ - macOS:
~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods/ - Linux:
~/.minecraft/mods/
mods/ folder instead of the default .minecraft one.Launch the game and verify
Start Minecraft using the Forge 1.20.1 profile. On the main menu, click Mods and confirm that Yeast ‘n Feast appears in the list. Then load or create a world, open Creative Mode, and look for the Yeast ‘n Feast tab in the creative inventory. If the tab is present, the mod loaded correctly.
If the game crashes on startup, check the
latest.log file inside your .minecraft/logs/ folder. Version mismatches between mods are the most common cause.Optional mod integrations
