QuestCraft is a standalone port of Minecraft: Java Edition to the Meta Quest platform and other standalone VR headsets. Powered by Vivecraft for immersive VR controls and Pojlib as its launcher library, QuestCraft lets you play full roomscale Minecraft without a PC — just your headset and a valid Minecraft: Java Edition license.

What is QuestCraft?

QuestCraft makes it possible to play Minecraft: Java Edition entirely standalone on your VR headset — no PC, no streaming, no tethering. The project is developed and maintained by the QCXR team, with contributions from over a dozen open-source developers.

Get Started in 3 Steps

Download the APK

Grab the latest QuestCraft APK from the GitHub Releases page and download it to your computer or Android device.

Sideload with SideQuest

Connect your headset to your computer, open SideQuest, and drag-and-drop the APK to install it. The app will appear under Unknown Sources.

Launch and Play

Open QuestCraft on your headset, grant permissions, sign in with your Minecraft account, and press Play. Game files download automatically (~10 minutes on first run).
You must own a valid, legally purchased copy of Minecraft: Java Edition to use QuestCraft. An internet connection is required for the initial setup.

Supported Platforms

QuestCraft runs on a range of standalone VR headsets:
  • Meta Quest 2 & Meta Quest 3 (native support)
  • Pico Neo 3, Pico 4, Pico 4U
  • Other standalone Android-based HMDs
