How to Switch Versions
QuestCraft’s built-in launcher lets you manage multiple Minecraft versions from a single interface. To switch to a different version:- Open the QuestCraft launcher on your headset.
- Select the version you want to play from the version list.
- Press Play — if this is your first time launching that version, the required game files will begin downloading automatically.
- Wait for the download to complete (approximately 10 minutes, depending on your internet speed).
- Once the download finishes, the game will launch automatically.
When playing multiplayer, your client version must exactly match the version of the server you are joining. If a server is running 1.20.1, you must select 1.20.1 in the QuestCraft launcher. Version mismatches will prevent you from connecting.
Launcher Features
Beyond version switching, the QuestCraft launcher also handles:- Automatic mod updates — Keeps your installed Minecraft components and optimization mods up to date.
- Mod Manager — Browse, download, and install Fabric mods, modpacks, and resource packs directly from your headset without a PC.
- Log viewer — A real-time log viewer shows loading progress so you can monitor startup (typically 1–4 minutes with default mods).
