Resource packs let you customize Minecraft’s textures, sounds, UI elements, and language files without modifying any game code. QuestCraft supports the same resource pack format as desktop Minecraft: Java Edition, so any Java Edition-compatible resource pack can be used — though performance on standalone VR hardware means resolution choices matter more than on a PC.Documentation Index

Installing Resource Packs
Option 1: Via Mod Manager (Recommended)
The easiest way to install resource packs is through the built-in Mod Manager in the QuestCraft launcher. It handles downloading and file placement automatically while you stay in your headset.Go to the Resource Packs section
Inside Mod Manager, select the Resource Packs category to browse available packs.
Browse and install
Find the resource pack you want and tap Install. The pack will be downloaded and placed in the correct directory automatically.
Option 2: Manual Installation
If you have a resource pack.zip file already downloaded, you can install it manually using a file manager app on your headset or via a connected PC.
Place the .zip file (do not unzip it) in the following directory:
Activating a Resource Pack In-Game
Regardless of how you installed a resource pack, you must activate it from within the game:- Launch Minecraft through the QuestCraft launcher.
- From the main menu, open Options.
- Select Resource Packs.
- Find your pack in the left (available) column and click the arrow to move it to the right (active) column.
- Click Done — Minecraft will reload assets with the new pack applied.
Performance Considerations
Standalone VR headsets have significantly less GPU memory and processing power than a desktop PC. High-resolution texture packs place additional demands on both memory and rendering, which can negatively impact your frame rate.Shader Packs
Shader packs are not supported in QuestCraft. Shaders rely on rendering pipeline features that are not available on Android GPUs. Attempting to use a shader pack will not work and may cause errors or crashes. Stick to standard resource packs for texture and sound customization.
