QuestCraft’s control scheme is powered by Vivecraft, which translates the full Minecraft: Java Edition input system into an intuitive VR layout across both hands. Whether you’re on a Meta Quest 2, Quest 3, or a Pico Neo headset, the bindings are designed so that movement, interaction, and inventory management all feel natural in roomscale play.Documentation Index

VR-Specific Gameplay Mechanics
Vivecraft adds several movement modes that go beyond standard Minecraft input, making the experience genuinely immersive in a roomscale environment. Roomscale Movement Physical movement in your play space is tracked directly — walking around your room moves your character in the world. This means you can physically duck under obstacles, lean around corners, and sidestep hazards without touching a thumbstick. Teleportation Press the Y button to teleport. An arc will project from your controller showing the destination; release to confirm. Teleportation is useful for players who experience motion sickness with smooth locomotion, and it can be used alongside the left thumbstick for hybrid movement. Turning The right thumbstick rotates the camera left and right. By default this is snap-turn; smooth turn settings are available inside VR Settings if you prefer continuous rotation. The Radial Menu
Pressing the A button opens the Radial Menu — a context-sensitive ring of shortcuts that gives you quick access to common inventory actions, torch placement, and other Vivecraft-specific functions without navigating the full inventory screen. It is especially useful in situations where opening the inventory (X) would be overkill.Pico Headset Button Layout
QuestCraft officially supports Pico Neo 3, Pico 4, and Pico 4U headsets. The Vivecraft input bindings carry over, but the physical button labels on Pico controllers differ from Meta Quest controllers. The Pico controller layout may differ slightly from the Meta Quest layout described above. If a button label doesn’t match your hardware, refer to the official Pico controller documentation for the equivalent physical button, then map it to the function listed in the table.
