Reward Tickets let you link entries into another competition directly to an instant prize, so that when a customer wins, they automatically receive tickets into one or more other competitions. This is ideal for digital-only instant prizes such as “10 Tickets into Competition X” or bundled ticket packages, keeping the experience fully automated with no manual intervention required.

Adding Reward Tickets to an Instant Prize

1

Open the Instant Prize

Navigate to the Instant Prize you want to configure. If you are not yet familiar with creating an Instant Prize, refer to the Adding an Instant Prize guide first.
2

Click Reward Tickets

Above the Instant Prize title, click the Reward Tickets button to open the configuration popup.
3

Add competitions and configure tickets

In the popup, add one or more competitions and set the ticket quantities. The configuration works similarly to Postal Entries, and you can link multiple competitions to a single instant prize.
4

Review the warnings and save

Read the warnings shown in the popup carefully before saving. Enabling Reward Tickets disables payouts on that instant prize and marks it as non-payable, meaning it will not appear in the Winner History.
Do not combine Reward Tickets with Cash or Physical Instant Prizes. Prizes configured this way will not appear in the Winner History or the Payouts portal. Reward Tickets is designed exclusively for digital rewards such as ticket bundles or entries into another competition.

Rewarding Tickets as a Main Prize

You can also reward tickets into another competition as the main prize of a draw. The option to add tickets appears in the same area where you set the draw date, maximum ticket count, and ticket price. This works with both live draw and automatic draw competition types, making it well suited for competitions where the primary prize is a package of entries into a separate, higher-value competition.

Handling Sold-Out Competitions

If a competition you are rewarding tickets into becomes fully sold out, you will receive an automatic email notification. You can then reroute the reward to a different competition using the Postal Entries dashboard under Failed to Generate.
The rerouting feature updates both the failed orders and any instant prizes that are still active, preventing the issue from recurring on future wins. You cannot change the quantity of tickets rewarded during rerouting — only the destination competition can be changed.
You have 14 days to resolve rerouting issues after receiving a sold-out notification. Act promptly to ensure affected winners receive their tickets without delay.
