Coin Drop and Carnival Games bring arcade-style energy to your instant prize competitions. Coin Drop lets customers drop coins into a chute to reveal their result, while Carnival Games offers four distinct fairground-inspired variants. Both integrate directly with your Instant Prize setup and require no separate draw configuration.
Both games require the Minigame Plugin to be installed and an active Instant Prize competition to operate.

Coin Drop

Coin Drop is a physics-based reveal game where customers drop a coin down a chute to discover whether they’ve won. Customers with multiple tickets have their coins dropped automatically in sequence, keeping the reveal experience fast and engaging.

How Coin Drop Works

Each ticket purchased entitles the customer to one coin drop. If a customer holds multiple tickets on a single competition, the game will automatically drop all their coins one after another — no repeated button presses required.

Setting Up Coin Drop

1

Open the competition editor

Navigate to your product list and click Edit on the Instant Prize competition you want to use Coin Drop for.
2

Find the Minigames widget

Scroll down below the Featured Image field until you see the Minigames widget.
3

Select Coin Drop

Click the game selector and choose Coin Drop. Save the product.
4

Verify the customer experience

After saving, every ticket purchase will trigger the Coin Drop game. Customers will see an option to open the Coin Drop popup on the product page and on the Thank You page after checkout.

Customisation

You can make minor visual adjustments to the Coin Drop game from the Minigames settings panel.
After applying any customisation changes, use the Playground (found under Minigames → Playground in your admin panel) to preview how the game looks before it goes live to customers.

Speed Modes

Coin Drop supports different speed modes to control the pace of the coin reveal:
The default experience — coins drop at a natural pace, giving each reveal a satisfying build-up. Well suited to competitions where customers typically hold one or two tickets.
Coins drop more quickly, reducing the time between purchases and reveals. Ideal for high-volume competitions where customers may hold many tickets and a faster pace keeps the experience from feeling drawn out.

How Customers Access Coin Drop

  • Product page — a button appears above the Add to Cart button on the competition.
  • Thank You page — the button is available after checkout so customers can play straight away.
Each ticket purchased adds one coin to the customer’s queue. All coins in the queue are revealed in the same session when the popup is opened.
