The Cloner is a time-saving tool built directly into the Edit Competition page that lets you duplicate an existing competition in seconds. Rather than rebuilding a competition from scratch each time, you can clone all settings — ticket counts, prize data, layout, and configuration — and then adjust only what needs to change for the new run. It’s ideal for operators who run the same format of competition on a regular basis.Documentation Index

Manual Cloning
The Clone button sits on the Edit Competition page, near the save button. Clicking it creates a full duplicate of the competition with all settings preserved, with the exception of the competition dates. Once the clone is created, you are automatically redirected to the new competition’s edit page so you can review and update it immediately. After cloning, you have the option to delete all instant prize data from the new competition. This is useful when you want to assign fresh ticket numbers and prize positions rather than carrying over the original instant win configuration.
Automatic Cloning
Automatic cloning lets you schedule a competition to be duplicated on a specific date, making it straightforward to run recurring daily or weekly competitions without manual intervention. When an automatic clone runs, it:- Duplicates the competition on the scheduled day
- Sets the new start date to today at the same time as the original start time
- Calculates the new end date by applying the same duration as the original competition
How date calculation works
How date calculation works
The cloner retains the original start and finish times but replaces the dates with today’s date and the equivalent future date. For example: if the original competition ran from 01-01-2025 at 14:00 to 14-01-2025 at 20:00, the cloned competition will retain the same start and finish times and finish 14 days later at 20:00.
