Select Mi Perfil / Usuarios

Click Mi Perfil / Usuarios in the side menu to open the user management table.

The user table

The user table lists all accounts visible to your role. Each row shows:
  • ID — Internal account identifier.
  • Nombre de Usuario — The account’s permanent username used for login.
  • Nombre Completo — The user’s display name shown in logs and catalog contributions.
  • Rol — The assigned role: Tecnico, Supervisor, or Jefe.
  • Estado — Account status: active or inactive.
The list is filtered by your role. Supervisors see only Tecnico users. Jefes see all users.

Creating a user

Only Jefes can create new user accounts.
1

Open user management

Navigate to Mi Perfil / Usuarios from the side menu.
2

Click Nuevo Usuario

Click Nuevo Usuario (New User) to open the creation form.
3

Fill in the user details

Complete the following required fields:
  • Nombre de Usuario — The login username. This cannot be changed after creation.
  • Nombre Completo — The user’s full display name.
  • Contraseña — Initial password for the account.
  • Rol — Select Tecnico, Supervisor, or Jefe.
  • Estado — Set to active to allow immediate login.
4

Save the new user

Click Guardar to create the account. The new user will appear in the table immediately.
The username (Nombre de Usuario) is set at creation and cannot be changed afterward. Choose carefully — if a username must change, the account must be deleted and recreated.

Editing a user

Jefes can edit any user. Supervisors can edit Tecnico users only.
1

Locate the user

Find the user in the table. Use the role filter if the list is long.
2

Open the edit form

Click the edit icon or action button on the user’s row.
3

Update the fields

You can modify:
  • Nombre Completo — Update the display name.
  • Rol — Change the user’s role (Jefe only).
  • Estado — Toggle the account between active and inactive.
4

Save changes

Click Guardar to apply the updates.

Deactivating a user

If a user should no longer have access but their account history needs to be preserved, set their Estado to inactive instead of deleting the account. Inactive users cannot log in.

Deleting a user

Only Jefes can delete user accounts.
1

Locate the user

Find the user’s row in the table.
2

Click the delete action

Click the delete icon on the user’s row.
3

Confirm deletion

Confirm the deletion in the prompt. The action cannot be undone.
Deleting a user is permanent. However, all cut point records, votes, and contributions made by that user remain in the catalog. Their Nombre Completo may still appear in activity logs and on catalog entries they contributed.
