This guide walks you through accessing GPSpedia and finding cut point information for a vehicle. The whole process takes less than five minutes once your account is active.
1

Request access

GPSpedia requires a provisioned account — there is no self-registration.Open the platform and locate the contact form on the login screen. Fill in your name, organization, and a brief description of how you’ll be using the catalog. An administrator will review your request and send you your credentials.
Keep your username handy after you receive it. Usernames cannot be changed after account creation.
2

Once you have credentials, open GPSpedia in your browser and you’ll be presented with the login modal.
  1. Enter your username in the Usuario field.
  2. Enter your password in the Contraseña field.
  3. Click Acceder.
The app validates your credentials against the backend. On success, you’re taken directly to the main catalog view.Session persistence: Your session is stored in localStorage under the key gpsepedia_session. Each time you open the app, it reads this stored session and validates it with the server before granting access. You won’t need to log in again as long as your session remains valid.
If you’re using a shared or public device, log out manually when you’re done. Your session will otherwise persist until it expires server-side.

Search for a vehicle

From the main view, navigate to the Cortes section using the bottom navigation bar.Use the search bar at the top to find your vehicle. The search engine matches against both brand and model names simultaneously — for example, typing hilux returns Toyota Hilux entries directly, without needing to first select the Toyota brand. You can also browse manually using the hierarchical catalog:
  1. Select a category (e.g., pickup, sedan).
  2. Select a brand.
  3. Select a model.
  4. Select the applicable year range.
4

Browse cut point options

After selecting a vehicle and year range, the catalog displays the available cut types for that entry. Up to three cut types are shown, ranked by community votes:
  • Bomba de combustible — fuel pump cut
  • Señal de encendido — ignition signal cut
  • Corte de encendido — ignition cut
  • Desbloqueo de puertas — door release
Each cut point entry shows the wire location, color codes, connector references, and any notes contributed by other technicians. The most voted option is displayed first.
5

View the relay configuration

From a cut point detail view, tap or click the relay diagram link to open the corresponding Relay configuration for that cut type. The relay section shows the wiring diagram for connecting the relay circuit to the selected cut point. Use this alongside the cut point data to complete the installation. From here you can also navigate to the Tutoriales section if a step-by-step installation tutorial is available for the vehicle or cut type you’re working on.

Install GPSpedia as an app

GPSpedia is a Progressive Web App (PWA). You can install it on your Android or iOS device for faster access and offline use. On Android, tap the browser menu and select Add to home screen. On iOS, tap the share icon in Safari and select Add to Home Screen. Once installed, it runs in standalone mode — no browser chrome — and works offline via the service worker cache.
